New Beginnings Cat Rescue
New Beginnings Cat Rescue (NBCR) is a non-profit,
volunteer-only cat rescue group. We do not have a shelter,
but instead place our cats waiting for a space in our adoption
center with loving foster families who care for them and see to
their health needs when necessary. Sick or weak cats and
mothers with nursing kittens are always placed with foster families
until the kittens or cats are ready for adoption.
We are fortunate to be able to use the adoption
center at the Garland, Texas PetSmart at Hwy 190 and N. Garland
Avenue. Our volunteers have been caring for and adopting out
cats in the PetSmart since July 2004. In 2006, we
adopted out 357 cats to loving homes.

“Share the Music”
Presents

Beggar's Banquet intimate concert series continues on
Saturday, May 3. Spend an evening with an eclectic
singer/songwriter up close and personal. An additional treat
is opener Taylor Davis. The admission is
$15 each, with $10 going to the artist and
$5 going to New
Beginnings Cat Rescue.
